Need to Know Information

    • First come first serve basis, we are unfortunately unable to take reservations

    • No electricity, everything is made by hand

    • 1 - 2 hours one way

    • 3.5km (2.2 miles) from Lake Louise or 7km (4.5 miles) return

    • Elevation gain of 400 meters (1300 feet)

    • Altitude of 2135 meters (7005 feet)

    • Maps available at Lake Louise or Banff visitor centers

    • 1 litre of water per person minimum - there is no drinking water at the tea house

    • Comfortable running shoes are recommended - hiking boots not required - urban footwear, sandals, or heels are not recommended

    • Please dress for changing weather - bring an extra layer if hiking in the Spring or Fall
